AVP/Manager - Self Regulatory Organization - BFS

- Work with Vertical Head (Self-Regulation & Compliance). This would require involvement in Collecting and analyzing data from MFIN members to facilitate adherence to regulations and guidelines.

- Participating in time bound projects including project planning, execution, monitoring of activities, coordinating with project partners etc.

- Capacity building through webinars, workshops, training programmes and relevant content creation.

- Collaborating to create appropriate content and dissemination through reports/ research documents/ presentations/ audio-visuals.

- Undertaking visits to existing MFIN Members/Associates for knowledge dissemination, promoting/explaining various MFIN initiatives, fact finding, evaluation, capacity building, etc.

- Stay up-to-date on latest developments in the financial inclusion space and microfinance including regulatory and policy changes, innovations and best practices, nationally and globally

- Any other work that is deemed necessary from time-to-time

Required Qualification and Competencies

Core:

Essential:

Qualification, Work Experience & Knowledge:

Essential:

1. Masters in management, development studies, economics, public policy (or any relevant discipline) with a sound academic track record.

2. Five to ten years of relevant professional experience in a financial services organization or an industry body/policy think-tank.

3. Understanding of financial services/financial inclusion space.

4. Interest in technology

Desirable:

1. Experience of engaging with corporate sector, development sector institutions & policy makers.

2. Exposure to financial services/ financial inclusion space.

3. Qualitative/quantitative research experience
