About our client: Our client is a leading retail bank and financial services firm having an ecosystem of products across various asset classes. They are looking for hands-on analytics professionals having good experience and understanding of modelling lifecycles in credit risk domain. About the role: (Indian banks/ NBFC's/Fin-Tech exp is preferred) This team is pivotal for delivering this vision. The team act as a center of excellence to provide accurate and timely data analytics to drive personalized and innovative product offerings to customers. The team will work closely with all business units (product, sales), functional stakeholders (e.g. credit, operations, Journey Excellence), technology teams (IT team and vendors) and external partners (e.g. DSAs, agencies) to deliver impact on key business metrics through data and analytics. Scope of role: - Leverage analytics to drive insights for optimizing Acquisition strategy/credit line/ loan amount /Pricing/Channel mix/risk/X-Sell/Bases for Asset products. - Provide data driven solutions to improve portfolio quality and delinquency - Ability to understand complex business problems, end to end hands on exposure to analytics- including collecting, pulling and preparing data, building statistical/ ML models using Python/ R / SAS & other tools and generating insights to synthesize a complete, cohesive picture - Communicate the context and value of data analysis and models to stakeholders. - Create and Monitor MIS to ensure portfolio health - Build Application/ Behavior/ propensity scorecards leveraging traditional and ML techniques Desired Candidate profile The desired candidate must have: - 5-8 years of related experience (Indian banks/ NBFC's/Fin-Tech is preferred) - MBA or Master's degree in Economics, Statistics etc. - B.Tech or bachelor's in Computer science or any other stream Preferred Skills: - 5-8 years of work experience in the BFSI domain, preferably analytics or business consulting - Strong analytical acumen and willingness to learn - Working knowledge of Excel /SAS/R/Python
