AVP - Maintenance & Operation - Telecom

One of our Telecom client is looking for AVP Maintenance & Operation based in Chennai, handling Chennai/ROTN as per the below JD

Position : AVP Maintenance & Operation

Years of Experience : Min 18 + years of experience in Telecom industries

Work Location : Chennai

Qualification: Graduate Engineer from premier Institutes

Reportinig to : CTO

Job Profile :

Project Management :

- Mentoring the team and deploying them with the task.

- Conducting periodical reviews with project Team .

- Defining best practices for project support and documentation.

- Maintaining the project files, including complete documentation and audit trail.

- Handling of the MEP Services from the project stage and later on the Operations & Maintenance of the systems.

Operations & Maintenance :

- Designing layouts and managing the installation, commissioning, configuration & maintenance of a wide range of equipment.

- Ensuring maintenance of complete plant inclusive of performance monitoring, day to day operations, preventive & corrective maintenance.

- Planning and effecting maintenance schedules of various mechanical and electrical equipment to enhance the equipment reliability and increasing machine uptime.

Technical Support :

- Addressing performance bottlenecks and ensuring maximum availability of, equipment, etc.

- Designing expansion projects as per organisational requirements .

- Executing project as per contract for supply and services, project progress review and coordination meetings.

- Scrutinizing bills claimed by contractors and checking bills of contractors & certifying the quantities.

- Planning for Preventive Maintenance schedules / Spares Requirement to ensure reduction the outages

Team Management :

- Working on succession planning of the workforce, shift management activities, appraising the member's performance & providing feedback.

- Resolving interpersonal issues & working towards a harmonious work environment.
