Trading desks specialize in understanding flows across rates, FX and commodities markets, including:  - government bonds  - interest rate derivatives  - inflation-linked products  - spot foreign exchange  - forwards and options  - financial oil  - US financial gas  - index products  Macro team in Mumbai would be responsible for producing business critical MIS reports, Business Strategy presentations, Business Performance reviews, Revenue Forecasting Models, Budgeting Models and performing ad-hoc customized analysis.   Overall purpose of role:   The candidate would be supporting the Global Macro Business Management team. The business management team is responsible for controlling various aspects of business like the revenues, risk weighted assets, headcount, ROE, etc. The team also prepares business strategies for the entire Macro business globally. The team conducts various business review meetings with the respective sub-business heads to review their performance and provide strategic guidance.   The role requires sound understanding of Macro Business and financial markets (foreign exchange and interest rate derivative products in particular), good eye for detail and an ability to liaise with the Senior Business Managers, Trading desks and Technology teams to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of critical business strategy inputs.   Key Accountabilities and Skills required:  Key specific accountabilities   - Production of Trading Business performance reviews and Manager performance SCORE card  - Business Competition Analysis using Coalition and Greenwich datasets  - Analysis of revenue drivers for trading revenues, volumes, margins, market share, etc. and FX adjusting the revenues to analyze core business growth  - Maintaining and updating the revenue budgeting models as well as revenue forecasting models   - Ad-hoc customized analysis as required by the business managers to analyze the business performance or lead/lag indicators  - Development of business intelligence dashboards in applications like Spotfire / Qlikview  - Stakeholder management and leadership  - The candidate would have to interact with business managers, trading desks and technology teams spread worldwide as Macro business encompasses all the regions globally.   - Decision making and problem solving   - The candidate will have to be proactive in identifying issues and getting them resolved by aliasing with various stakeholders  - The candidate needs to work on several time sensitive activities and hence is required to be meticulous and efficient   - The candidate should have great eye for detail and should ensure that he/she meets the zero error tolerance requirement as most output forms a critical input for business decision making  Your Skills and Qualifications will include  Essential  - Good understanding of Macro Business  - Experience of quantitative analysis of Business/ trader performance  - Strong knowledge and experience of analyzing large data sets  - Exposure to programming languages and statistical software like R, C++, SQL, Python, etc   - Good MS Excel knowledge including VBA macros  - Excellent communication skills (oral/written)   - Strong Analytical Skills  - Aptitude for self learning - Should be able to demonstrate a self starting attitude  - Proactive in nature. Should be able to take decisions and support those.  - Should take complete ownership of the assigned processes  - Team player   - Flexible to work long hours, when required  Desirable  - Knowledge of financial product valuation/markets analysis is desirable (foreign exchange and interest rate derivative products in particular)  - Experience in developing dashboards in Business Intelligence (BI) tools like tableau and Qlikview is an added benefit.
