JOB DESCRIPTION:

Purpose of the Job:

- Heading Litigation for the company/ group cos Pan India

Principal Accountabilities:

Accountabilities/Key Performance Indicators:

- Heading the team of Cases against Company

- Take control over the Cases Against Company, MIS (CIVIL), knowledge and exposure on Arbitration and court cases.

- To ensure various compliances with the statutory authority including RBI

- Systematically vetting process of various documents like W/S, W/V, W/O

- Extend support to others

- Support to the recovery team for collection. Discharge the duty of - advisory role- and guiding to the branch to deal cases against company

- Monitoring cases against company for Pan India

- Feedback from the Branch for the cases

- Handling Litigation including Arbitration proceedings

- Should have in depth knowledge of C.P.C. Civil litigation including Arbitration proceedings, Actions under Specific Relief Act both at High Court and Lower Court, Money suits, Execution of Decree, Interim relief's both at High Courts and Lower Courts, SARFESI act etc

- Manage criminal cases initiated against company, any of its director and employees, at all levels

- Well conversant to deal with high numbers of consumer forum courts and criminal cases initiated against company, any of its director and employees, at all levels.

- You need to interact with internally in the organization to enable success in your day to day work Support functions.

- You need to interact with outside the organization to enable success in your day to day work.

Qualification & Experience

- LLB with more than 15 years of experience out of which 5 years should be spear-heading litigation.

- Should have exclusive exposure in Banking litigation including cases filed against Company

- Should be in National position for at least 3 years.

- Should have In-depth knowledge of legal procedures / regulatory laws

- Strong Leadership skills and Ability to work with the team.

- Excellent Presentation and Communication skills.

- Strong Assertive Personality.

- Ability to manage relationships and should have exposure of handling a National role

- Proven ability to delicately solve sensitive matters

- Should have led a team of legal professionals across various zones and must be willing to travel.
