AVP/Lead Manager - Service Delivery Leader - Risk & Compliance

Educational Qualification : Post Graduate, MBA

Domain/Vertical : Investment Banking/Capital Markets/BFSI

Professional Qualification if any Desirable Certifications - CISA, CFSA, CFP, CFE etc

Skills/requirement :

- 10+ years experience in Investment Operations/Risk Management, of which min 3 years in Risk Management role

- Experience in Capital Markets/Investment Banking domain/products

- Understanding of Financial industry, Capital Markets, Investment Banking, Derivatives, Securities, etc.

- Managed small teams(5-10 FTE) of team members in Risk Management function

Job Description :

- Head Risk Management & Compliance team with a span of ~10 analysts performing risk management, compliance, risk assurance activities

- Conduct Risk Assessment measurement, publish scorecard

- Ensure adherence to contracts and compliance

- Drive and embed risk culture in Operations

- Proactively identify and anticipate possible risk issues, control gaps and external threats

- Design test programme to provide appropriate mechanism for risk assessment

- Monitoring and reporting of risk, test design and effectiveness of controls

- Engage with RTB teams to develop and deliver best practices on risk management

- Build capability to engage as a strategic partner with the client in Risk management roles

- Work with Onshore Risk teams to create visibility of offshore initiatives and drive activities in synchronization.

- Responsible to the Account Head/Risk Head for the overall delivery of a robust business operational risk management framework in line with the company policy and client expectations.
