AVP - IT Infrastructure

Level: AVP (IT Infrastructure)

Organisation: A fortune 400 MNC

Location: Gurgaon

Experience: 13 - 18 years

It would be a 24- 7 support role

Responsibilities:

- Installations, assemble stage, configure and deploy network systems throughout the region. Provide build assistance and infrastructure support for voice and data applications. Certify, recommend and implement upgrades to platforms.

- Provide technical project management for upgrades to current production platforms.

- Follow best practice project management including approach, certification, back out strategies and approvals.

- End user training

- Change management processing

- Monitor Incidents queues: troubleshoot and complete or assign tickets as required

- Change management processing

- Provide 2nd level support for the Regional Voice Operations team for the company on various IPT voice systems as well as network infrastructure.

- Assist the Network and Voice Engineering team with design networks across the region.

- Provide assistance with annual budgetary numbers.

- Manage and provide status on various projects throughout the enterprise.

- Process moves, adds, and changes (MACs) for voice when needed. Manage patching (provisioning) activities in the datacenters.

- Manage the incident and change management queues associated with the regional Network Services, servicing requests as needed.

- Recommend and implement upgrades to platforms

- Bachelor degree preferred in technology, IS or related field.

Technical Knowledge :

- Deployment and support of Cisco networking in an enterprise environment.

- Strong working knowledge of TCP-IP is required

- Knowledge of Riverbed, Cisco ASA, F5 load balancers, and IPT Telephony systems is desired
