AVP - Investment - Venture Capital Firm - IIT/IIM

The role involves working extensively with founders to help them scale their businesses, evaluating and building deep market knowledge, conducting extensive research across various internet domains. Our team play a pivotal role in helping founders & companies as they navigate through their zero-to-one journey.

Key responsibilities - Portfolio

- Work in an unstructured environment of an early stage startup like their key founding team member in our early stage portfolio companies

- Manage strategic, unidentified & identified tasks that help the businesses in their PMF to Series A journey

- Working closely with founders as their right hand person on various operating & strategic matters. Taking companies from an idea to a functioning, attractive business

- Mapping & building relationships with high quality team working in specific industry domain

Key responsibilities - Platform

- Help in identification of interesting domains for new digital businesses & building deep conviction around them.

- Preparing presentations and investment memos

- Working with the rest of the team at the platform level on various initiatives

Key requirements

- 2-4+ year of experience in top-tier consulting / investment banking / VC / startups (preferably growth, strategy, founder's office roles)

- Strong pedigree preferably IIM/IIT

- A passion for helping build internet companies from scratch

- Keen interest & belief in the startup space in India

- Strong analytical & execution abilities - win the respect of founders

- High levels of empathy & EQ - win the trust of founders

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Good acumen with presentations & Excel

- Great primary & secondary research skills

- Effective networking skills & the ability to represent the firm within the ecosystem
