Designation: Assistant Vice President (AVP)

Key Responsibilities :

- Drive the transaction execution with support of the team

- Assist in the development of complex financial models and valuation analysis

- Perform client due diligence, prepare information memoranda and other transaction-related documentation

- Working with clients in development and negotiation of transaction documents including term sheet and SPA

- Conduct competitive research including identifying sector and industry trends

- Monitor and mentor junior teammates and ensure their growth within their roles - Assist in mandate origination & active engagement with potential clients

Key Result Areas:

- Sector focus: consumer tech, Fin tech, enterprise products, Edutech, LogiTech, ecommerce and any new age technology companies

- Role: Private capital raise in the start-up ecosystem Relevant Skills, Knowledge and Experience:

- Prior experience in raising capital from PE/VC or M&A is a must

- Experience with raising capital for start-up companies including consumer tech, fintech, and enterprise product companies would be viewed favorably

- Demonstrated experience in managing day-to-day aspects of client relationships and transactions with superior attention to detail and quality deliverables

- Impeccable research, quantitative and analytical skills, especially in explaining market events

- Experience with networking with VC & PE ecosystem in India & overseas would be preferable

- Any prior transaction origination experience would be viewed favorably

- Advanced financial modeling and power point skills

- Superior communication skills are a must - Ability to articulate complex things into simple words

Candidate's Profile:

- Candidate must have 4-6 years of prior relevant experience

- MBA from a top tiered school, preferably with Technology background

- Prior investment banking experience required, with preference given to experience at top tiered boutique firms and candidates in the big 4 advisory firms

- Experience in IT service and/or technology companies would be favorable

- Passionate about start-up ecosystem and a "Can-do" attitude is a must - Very high level of ownership and commitment

Qualification: Post-graduate; Preferably (CA/MBA in Finance)

Reporting To: Managing Director

Salary Bandwidth: Depending on candidate's background and experience
