AVP - Internal Audit - BFSI

Supporting financial services domain with a strong back ground in internal controls

To participate as an auditor in a global/ regional audits of risk functions. This will involve understanding risk functions in a financial services domain, conducting process walkthrough and identifying key risks and controls, and performing Design and Operational Effectiveness tests and document workpapers in line with Nomura Internal Audit methodology. Support audit lead in audit scoping, planning and drafting of issues To analyse data sets and identify trends, outliers, deficiencies, etc based on requirements of audit steps

- Tracking and testing remedial steps performed by auditees to ascertain if risk is adequately mitigated

- Conducting risk assessments and monitoring performance and developments on a continual basis, and to provide inputs into formulation of the Audit plan

- Identify efficiency opportunities including within and across audit projects

- Coordinate with other regional risk auditors where required

- All the above tasks will be expected to be performed under the direct supervision of Risk audit in India and EMEA .
