Roles and responsibilities This is a role that requires capabilities and experiences across both devices (hardware/IoT) and product management. The candidate should be able to bring technical leadership across each area of our company's technology involvement - wearable device hardware, device OS, mobile applications spanning frontend and backend, and our web and mobile sites. Critically for this role, the candidate must be a strong people leader who has built and led teams of engineers/developers in the past and can work well with cross-functional stakeholders. Some key responsibilities are: - Build an ambitious long-term technology and product vision for the company spanning cutting-edge IoT, new form factors, and first-time-in-India wearables and hearables - Lead end-to-end new product development starting with conceptualization, design, prototyping, testing, production, and launch - Iterating and improving new generations of existing products through hardware improvements and UI/UX upgrades - Drive in-house app development and maximize acquisition, engagement, and monetization from app users (already over 2 million MAU) - Lead strategic collaborations with leading Indian and global wearable and hearable partners by co-creating joint visions and project teams to leverage available expertise - Create the right processes and build a team of A-players to bring that vision to life Ideal qualifications and experience - BTech/MTech/MBA/Ph.D. from leading Indian or global universities - 10+ years experience in global technology companies, high-growth startups, or leading MNCs - Experience in building consumer-facing products that integrate hardware and software - Extensive knowledge of IoT architectures, hardware design, SDKs, product design, UI/UX - Experience in building and leading teams across consumer-facing products with a strong hardware component - Experience in planning and implementing complex projects with cross-functional involvement
