Overall purpose of role The HR MI QlikView Developer role is part of the HR Technology &amp; Change team tasked with the end to end design and delivery of technology solutions to deliver targeted business outcomes across the HR MI&amp;A change portfolio. Your primary responsibility will be to act as a conduit between business stakeholders and development teams to deliver A simplified MI&amp;A technology architecture, supported by easy to use reporting tools A common reporting language (consistent definitions, interpretation of HR data and share best practice) A set of tools that adhere to all relevant risks and controls such as data privacy, security and compliance best practice. The HRMI QlikView Developer works under the direction of the Lead BO/QV Developer and designated Project Managers. This role will focus around the design, development and support of the HRMI presentation layer sitting on top of the HR Data Warehouse platform, primarily the QlikView Dashboards and Business Objects Web Intelligence reports. In co-ordination with the Reporting Solutions team, the HRMI QlikView Developer will drive the HRMI presentation / exploration layer strategy and future road map to ensure that the chosen tools continue to provide the most efficient and effective colleague experience and integration with the HR systems. Through stakeholder engagement and in co-ordination with the Partnering teams actively encourage the use of the HRMI strategic tool set supporting requirements gathering, Solution Training, Analytics and Insight Generally support the HRMI team in the delivery of transformation projects and in the provision of timely data and value add analysis to the HR Function and wider business globally. This individual must be flexible enough to undertake a variety of HR MI related tasks that could span across a number of HR areas. These will be delivered as part of either the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) or the Lean Control Process (LPC) depending whether the project is considered to be waterfall or agile. Irrespective of the project governance applicable, the typical activities cover working closely with Project Managers, Solution Architects, Data Warehouse Designers and Business Analysts to take requirements through to technical design and coding. The role also ensures the test activity is in line with the functional and business requirements, working closely with the different HR Technology teams. Key Accountabilities - Work with business owners, business analysts and solution architects to understand business requirements and solution design - Translate functional and technical requirements into IT solutions and prepare documentation and specifications for build and for support handover - Estimate level of effort required to develop code that meets acceptance criteria - Coordinate with other onshore and off-shore developers, deliver working code - Develop fully functional modules that meet all the specifications and have successfully passed all tests including unit, integration, regression and system tests - Provide a critical link between the HRMI technical teams and the Services, Partnering and Report Solutions teams in regards to the development of the presentation / exploration layer tools. - Tier-3 support and production release support- Respond promptly to requests from the support team in order to resolve user queries and handle technical issues that are out of scope for the support staff. - Develop and continuously improve QlikView applications in the HR Function, particularly the MyHR Dashboard.
