Location: Bhiwandi (Mumbai)

Role Description:

- Driving HR initiatives and functions for Warehouses in North India

- Lead a team of HR Managers and Generalists

- Implement initiatives that help reduce attrition rate

- Continually develop and engage front line managers / supervisors to improve people skills

- Be aware and ensure compliance on various HR-related laws, policies and practices, such as workers compensation, FMLA, Safety and EEO. Ensure legal compliance.

- Promote a workplace environment that successfully balances positive employee relations with the corporation's business objectives. Handle employee relation's issues and investigations.

- Benchmark and set up robust employee connect, welfare processes

- Partnering with the business to develop and implement programs, practices and solutions to attain business objectives.

- Manage contractual employees and issues related to demand for permanency.

- Manage large group concerns and avoid disruptive unionised atmosphere

- Creates a culture that values retention, coaching and introduce career development

Requirements :

- Must have experience in handling HR within Warehouse/Plants

- Minimum 8 -10 years business/HR Generalist experience involving direct accountabilities in the areas of employee relations, affirmative action, benefits administration, job analysis and compensation administration

- MBA from a top tier B School preferred

- Able to maintain problem-solving attitude while dealing with interpersonal conflict, time demands, and grey areas

- Able to deal with unresolved situations, frequent changes, delays, or unexpected events

- Knowledge of wage and hour and local state labor laws.

- Labor contract experience

- Excellent interpersonal skills and strong administrative/organization skills required

. Knowledge of local language

- Good Influencing and negotiating skills..

- Able to communicate effectively and facilitate problem resolution with all levels of employees
