AVP/Head - Business Analytics & Intelligence - BFSI - IIT/IIM/ISI

Main Priorities:

Lead the thinking on predictive analytics initiative for the company to create a coherent intelligence framework for the Organization

Lead a team of analysts to deliver analytical projects from conception to implementation.

Understand, size & prioritize business problem & develop analytical solution framework for solving these business problems

Use predictive statistical modeling and analytical techniques to solve the business problem (for eg. predict customer / agent behaviour)

Customer segmentation to improve cross-sell & up-sell to existing customers by identifying most suitable products for different segments of customers

Develop and execute the foundational testing framework to improve data quality for future model builds and optimize strategies

Lead the implementation of proposed analytical solution in coordination with Business Unit, IT and Operations

Responsible for delivery of all reporting needs

Groom reporting team members for insight generation and analyses

Skills/ Knowledge:

Strong analytical skills, logical reasoning, numerical capabilities (Data interpretation and comfort with numbers), and structured thinking are a must.

Excellent communication skills (verbal, written & presentation) and stakeholder management are pre-requisite for the role

Statistical knowledge and hands on experience with tools like SAS / SPSS.

Strong networking and influencing skills required.

Domain knowledge of processes and products in the retail banking/insurance space is advantageous.

Qualifications:

Masters in Statistics or Engineering from IIT/ISI/Tier 1 Engineering institute Or M.B.A. from IIMs / Tier 1 institute.
