AVP - Global Financial Operations

Job Description (Overview of Role) :

This position will cater to the Global Financial Operations line of space spanning across multiple functions primarily in the SAP General Ledger environment. These include the Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, General Accounting & Inter company Research teams.

Key Responsibilities ;

- Lead the Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets and other related functions.

- Build, manage and retain a team of high caliber, experienced resources

- Develop and implement strategies to enhance efficiency with detailed analysis of applications and processes

- Implement applicable control standards and manage related financial and/or operational risk; Ensure all regulatory and risk compliance standards are met

- Focus on associate value proposition through appropriate engagement and emphasis on lateral and vertical growth

Required Skills :

- CA, CPA, ICWA or MBA from a premier institution with a post qualification experience of 12 to 15 years in the Finance / Controller ship domain

- Should have directly led large Accounts Payable / Fixed assets teams preferably in a Finance captive.

- Successful and proven track record in leading multiple teams

- Substantial experience in a banking captive offshore entity or in the Financial / MNC sector

- Experience on SAP is preferred

- Domain focused leadership with ability to suggest and develop innovative solutions

- Ability to define routines in a dynamic environment with a changing work mix and manage efficient deployment of resources between on-going operations and improvement projects

- Ability to inspire and lead by example providing clear directions and focus to peers and team members

- Be responsible for thinking out of the box and develop innovative solutions for both processes on a global level

- A good team player with lot of focus on talent planning of the entire team
