AVP - Financial Reporting - Banking Captive Unit

This is a role for a captive KPO for a Bank and the group its aligned to is

- The CFO - Global Banking & Markets. The span of work covers Financial Controllership and finance reporting functions for the lines of business rolling into Global Banking & Markets.

- The Controllership function includes accounting, period close, balance sheet reconciliation and support on price verification. The Financial Reporting function includes regulatory & legal entity reporting.

- We are looking for CA/ICWA/MBA (Tier I/II) with experience of accounting/ reporting for no less than 12 years. Knowledge on Banking products (Corporate Banking, Markets and Investment Banking) will be preferred.

- The role would involve performing tasks and managing team as well in meeting deadline and strive to continuously improve the quality. The candidate has to be extremely hands on and focused towards on time delivery with absolute accuracy.

- 12+ years of experience in financial accounting / reporting domain in MNC environment

- Ability to work in a dynamic environment such as lack of well-defined procedures and changing work mix

- Require hands on experience in the areas of US GAAP accounting & reporting (Banking domain would be preferred)

- Strong communication is essential. Ability to independently communicate with senior leaders in the business

- Ability and flexibility to manage different functions across the Finance and Accounting domain

- Team managing experience would be required

- Demonstrates a positive attitude while focusing on completing tasks or goals
