We have been retained by one of the Premier Banking Global In-House Captive to identify a Lead for their Financial Planning and Analytics - (Techno functional) within their Finance Operation.
Location is Chennai.
Role Title: Associate Vice President
Reports to: SVP
Principle Roles & Responsibility:
The roles and responsibilities for the position include:
- Contributing to the effectiveness of the project by utilizing interpersonal skills to work with various finance and other cross functional members
- Clear understanding of Finance MIS Reports and translating the requirements into a Business Requirements document (BRD) for Technology's use
- Thorough understanding of Financial Analytic (Micro Strategy) in terms of its capabilities & performance
- Leverage process/domain expertise to identify opportunities for quality & process design improvement
- Managing the assigned tasks professionally & efficiently per agreed project timelines
- Conduct periodic tests of key controls in accordance with the operational risk policy framework
- Ensuring compliance of regulations, policies & requirements of the - in scope- countries and reports
- Raise relevant risks to delivery and effectively communicate them through the project governance framework
- Work with the FSSC teams to change manage new/ongoing projects and support operation teams in landing such changes to BAU
- Creative and out of box thinking required to solve problems and achieve milestones
- Continuous improvement in productivity to reporting standards prescribed from time to time
- Upholding the values of the Group & company at all times
- Compliance with all applicable Rules/Regulations and Company & Group policies
- Comply with Group Money Laundering Prevention policy and procedures to the extent applicable and reporting all suspicious transactions to the Line Manager
Qualification: B.com/M.com/CA/CWA/MBA
Experience:
- 12+ years- prior relevant experience.
- At least 6+ years of prior banking experience preferred
Skills:
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Highly detail and results oriented - self driven
- Ability to interact with varying levels throughout the organization.
- Ability to perform in a fast paced environment and handle multiple tasks through effective prioritization
- Good understanding of banking products / latest BASEL updates preferred
Key Measures:
- Seamless delivery of key project milestones and successful post implementation support post go live
- Successfully change manage new projects into BAU
- Implementation of effective system of financial and operational controls and quality standards as part of report delivery
- Effective identification and mitigation of project risks and slippages
- Stakeholder feedback
