Hiring for a leading BPO

Summary of Role / Profile :

Focus of the Function : More than 10 years of experience in F&A with atleast 5 years of working knowledge of FP&A. (Responsible of providing performance feedback, dealing with all people related aspects - performance development plan)

Review of key process activities as per the criticality (example Financial Statement monitoring / review, Corporate Executive team slides, Statutory accounts for Fin Reporting & Treasury entities.

Governance follow thorough Governance model - weekly interactions with stake holders

Post Graduation : Commerce/Accounts/Finance

Professional Finance Qualification : CA / ICWA / CPA

What are the key initiatives & challenges facing this role in the next six months to three years: Focus on Process improvement and Operational Excellence

Specific competences ( Essential) :

- Strong verbal and written communication skills

- Strong accounting conceptual knowledge

- Working Knowledge of MS Office tools

- Strong in Planning and Organizing

- Ability to handle stress during Month end/ quarter/year-end end closure

- Good Team Player

- Execute/Monitor Daily and Month end activities of team

- Meeting SLAs and KPIs; Reporting of exceptions

- Data Analysis to support business decisions; assist in Leadership Review Packages with Business Analytics

- Completion of tasks/work as assigned by Team Leader or Supervisor

- Need based ad hoc reporting and analysis to support requirements of business

- Coaching and grooming of team members to build a strong and efficient team

- General Ledger Accounting

- People Management

- Conflict Management

- Change Management

- Transition Management

- Management Reporting

- Cost collection and standard cost input Vs. Actual cost

- Meeting SLAs and KPIs

Essential :

- Passport Mandatory

- Resources from FP&A domain

- Should have managed people (5-10 team members)

- Good communication skills (written & Oral)

- Should have driven Process improvements

- Good accounting skills, analytical skills and accuracy with numbers

- Proficiency in Advanced MS Excel and other Microsoft applications

- Experience in ERP is a must (SAP desirable)

Desirable :

- Professional Finance Qualification - CA/CWA/CPA

- Working Knowledge of Closing and reporting
