MANDATORY ASK: 15+ YEARS' RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE - CONTROLLERSHIP, STATUTORY AUDITS & IFRS / CA WITH BIG 4 OR EX BIG 4 COMPANY EXPERIENCE / OPEN TO DOMESTIC & INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL TEAM MANAGEMENT: - Excellent team skills and ability to collaborate in a matrix organizational structure. - Ability to work with cross cultural and multi geography teams. The role is an integral part of the organization's overall strategy towards building Center of Excellence and focusing on APAC/US Region. The specific responsibilities in this role would be the following: - Follow month close procedures and finalise Trial Balance. - Ensure delivery of P&L and Balance Sheets with schedules. - Ensure delivery of monthly MIS as desired by the clients along with variance analysis. - Available at all times during the working hours to take calls and resolve customer queries. - Handle AR, AP, GL, FA, Forex, Inter Co reconciliations, Treasury. - Set up Internal Controls and ensure Financial Reporting is accurate (ICFR) - something similar to SOX. Ensure and evidence all supporting documents on ICFR. - Ensure smooth audits - internal, statutory or specific audits. - Focus on bringing automation to enhance working experience of teams at high level of accuracy and seamless customer experience. - Handle a team of experienced accountants in multiple tenure. - Work closely with Head of Shared Services and the Shared Services Team. - Ensure Statutory Compliances - Tax Department, STPI, SEZ, PEZA, BIR, etc. DESIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ATTITUDE: The ideal candidate should have: - Hands ON experience in accounting. - Excellent Accounting knowledge preferably with exposure to IFRS / IndAS. - Experience in ERP, prefer exposure to WorkDay/SAP. - Should have managed teams. - Must have ability to build blue print with regards to delivery strategy across multiple legal entities. - Managing internal client expectations and effective stakeholder management. - Experience in dealing with Big 4 Auditors.
