AVP - Financial Control - IRAS/MAS - BFS - CA

Our client is a global financial services company with offices across the globe. The specialize in multiple lines of businesses such as wealth management, private banking, retail banking, corporate banking, and institutional banking. They are hiring for an AVP- Financial Controller to deliver on Singapore entities.

Some of the key responsibilities will include:

- Responsible for financial control and regulatory reporting activities including month end financial close, deliver on IRAS and MAS

- Supporting monthly financial close and reviewing general ledger entries.

- Work closely with the regulatory reporting team and support them with data and reports.

- Build and maintain relationships across teams, assist and resolve accounting related issues and queries

- Interpret information from regulatory, accounting and tax circulars and implement changes to, when appropriate, the requisite front-to-back infrastructure used to capture data used for financial reporting

To be eligible for this role you will require:

- CA with 7+ years of experience in controller and reporting activities for Singapore region.

- Hands on with IRAS and MAS

- Experience in delivering the production of publicly disclosed financial statements for a major global financial institution

- Sufficient knowledge of the contents of financial statements such that regulatory queries related to financials can be understood

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
