AVP - Financial Analysis & Control

The candidate will join the Global Financial Control COO team supporting key business management and reporting functions in numerous capacities for the Global Financial Control organization. The ideal candidate will have proven ability to develop Alteryx and Tableau solutions to support management reporting and drive change. Candidate must be able to understand Finance and Accounting in order to support business control requirements.

Responsibilities:

- Support resource management reporting for the GFC organization including break/fix and enhancement of existing Alteryx and Tableau solutions

- Design and deliver new reporting capabilities leveraging Alteryx and Tableau that are optimized and well controlled

- Develop and maintain process documentation, including control objectives

- Analyze, monitor, interpret, and report data; leverage it to identify and drive resolution of potential issues or inefficiencies

- Support ongoing process improvements; identify process improvement opportunities by challenging the status quo

- Support business control programs to ensure GFC adherence to enterprise policies and requirements including records management, business continuity planning and FINRA requirements

Requirements:

Education:

- Graduate/Post Graduate degree in Commerce, Business or Technology

- Certifications If Any - Alteryx/Tableau

Experience Range:

10 to 18 years

Foundational Skills:

- 5+ years accounting or finance work experience

- Practical, hands-on experience with Alteryx & Tableau with ability to design and build new data workflows and reporting suites

- Ability to understand business requirements and deliver appropriate solutions

- Must be detail oriented (e.g. ability to identify anomalies within large sets of data and track multiple action items in detail)

- Proficient in data analytics, aggregation, integration, and reporting

- Critical thinking/problem solving skills. Must be able to own/understand a process from end-to-end, be able to identify weaknesses in the process and identify/implement solutions, be able to challenge others on the facts of the process

- Ability to derive and communicate concise, impactful and actionable insights from detailed analysis

- Ability to assess and determine when to raise concerns and escalate

- Must be able to deliver accurate results with limited direction and supervision

- Strong communicator, able to influence and hold others accountable for deadlines

Desired Skills:

- Knowledge of the Global Financial Control organization and key functions

- Be able to drive continuous process improvement

- Demonstrate intellectual curiosity and willingness to challenge the status quo

- Creative problem solving and negotiating that ensures a balance between presenting the most current information and meeting steadfast deadlines
