AVP - Financial Accounting - Investment Bank - CA

- Review analyze, explain & validate the break explanations

- Review & post journals where required in relation to US GAAP or IFRS requirements.

- Providing subject matter expertise to Line stakeholders which require a good understanding of accounting, products & trade flows

- Take ownership of any issues that arise from the BAU processes with a view to resolving these efficiently & timely.

- Liaise with Line PC, FA, FO, and Accounting Policy to drive consistency of accounting treatment and reporting

- Work independently, multi-task & performs supervision over teams tasks & moderately complex issues, with deliverable & timelines. Proactive escalation of complex issues

Specifications:

- CA (Mandatory) with 5 years of work experience (Product control, Accounting and Reporting experience would be an advantage).

- Self-motivated with a drive for excellence and strong Analytical ability.

- Knowledge of other innovative techniques and technological languages (R, Python, SQL, VBA) will be added
