Transition: Understand client's requirements and create a transition plan and project plan for F&A projects and outsourcing engagements, and implementation/ conversion of Financial Statements/ Accounting information to US GAAP/ Ind-AS/ IFRS. - Project Management: Effectively manage projects on financial re-transactions, restatements, reconciliations, financial statements preparation, consolidations etc. under US GAAP/ Ind-AS/ IFRS; assist clients and provide support in quarterly and annual reporting and audits; maintain project documentation. - Project Delivery: Deliver projects and outsourcing engagements in F&A as per agreed SLA/ project milestones following process excellence, risk management, reviews, controls, performance metrics and quality; monitor progress; identify issues and develop remediation plan; maintain execution documentation. - Client engagement: Work closely with client CFOs/ Controllers in understanding their requirements, tailor deliverables to client requirements, manage contractual and delivery issues for effective transition and delivery of projects; maintain ongoing communication with clients on issues, progress, deliverables; Identify new areas of client requirements and support senior management in increasing scope of services. - Design and roll out standard operating procedures for long term outsourcing projects; identify and remediate inconsistent design of review & controls and monitor efficiency and effectiveness of deliverables. - Meet strict deadlines on assignments, prioritize and execute multiple demands and work with different stakeholders. - Engage with the client and in-house technology teams to identify opportunities for automation and actively engage in implementing solutions. - Manage and deliver projects and outsourcing engagements within budget. - Provide guidance on complex technical accounting matters to team members and develop whitepapers on various technical accounting matters. - Research client inquires on emerging finance and accounting issues, including regulations, industry practices and new technologies and provides solutions. - Recruit, train, and manage top-notch talent; Lead a team of about 50 people
