Role Purpose

The Global Finance Operations Centres (GFOC), the Centre of Excellence for Finance, is an integral part of Global Finance, supporting the finance teams across the globe. The gamut of GFOC operations include Accounting and control, Integrated Reporting covering Management Reporting, Financial Reporting and Regulatory Reporting. Cost Accounting, ALCM and Finance System Operations support processes.

The Management and Business Reporting sub-function at GFOC covers Business Reporting for Global Businesses, Management Reporting and Analytics, Cost Performance, Client Profitability and Business Reporting Data Quality. This role is focused on supporting internal management and external reporting for the Global CMB business working closely with the in country CFO teams.

The purpose of the role is as follows:

- Lead the CMB digitization journey, using Tableau and converting existing financial reports to a digital environment.

- Understand CMB business functioning and interpret data to provide meaningful analysis to facilitate business decision-making.

- Interaction and exposure to senior finance stakeholders in Business Finance, including Regions, Products, Group and Strategy teams.

- Pro-actively manage the CMB wide projects and change initiatives

- Ensure digitization and consistency across financial reporting within different teams supporting standard reports and regional reporting.

Principal Accountability:

Business and Service Delivery

- Lead the CMB digitization journey using Tableu and converting existing financial reports

- Ensure high-quality service delivery to provide best in class business insight-

- Collaborate with other finance teams to share best practices & ensure digitization where possible

- Ability and experience of managing internal customer relationships/ service delivery

- Number of best practices identified & implemented

- Issue resolution

- Stakeholders feedback

Customer & Stakeholder Management

- Be the key point of contact for service delivery matters

- Build and maintain deep, supportive, productive relationships with in-country finance teams globally

- Support GFOC management in driving service quality improvement & the change agenda

- Customer Feedback

Leadership and People Management

- Provide leadership and support for any escalations of service delivery issues

- Work with GFOC management to establish a best in class talent pool to support the in-country teams

- Develop and train the team to drive capability improvement

- Create a productive team environment which fosters free sharing of knowledge & ideas

- Supplier of information for the production, analysis and other operating teams.

- Quality of Solutioning

- Expansion of Service Catalogue

- Move up the analysis value chain

- Build the team with right balance skills and adequate backup.

Operational Excellence and control

- Ensure compliance with and periodic review/update of FIM, data definitions, or other relevant governance frameworks in collaboration with MI Heads

- Ensure the quality of output by the production and Analysis teams.

- Compliance to policies

Knowledge & Experience / Qualifications

- Qualified Accountant (C.A./ C.P.A/ I.C.W.A) or Management Graduate with over 10+ years of experience with significant functional experience. Experience in Management reporting & Analytics and exposure to financial reporting tools.

- Should have experience in managing and engaging with multiple senior business relationships.

- Should have the ability to drive change and solutioning in a finance environment.

- Should be able to drive projects and Adhoc work requirements

- Should be able to deliver high-quality service in shared service finance environments based on PLA's and performance standards

- Should have strong verbal, written and presentation skills

- Good team player, the ability to successfully interact with internal stakeholders and service/production center
