For an Investing Banking Firm The person will be accountable for investigating the financial position of the client company by gathering information and evaluating company fundamentals, financial statements &amp; reports to support the complex deals. Information Gathering: - Assemble and summarize data to structure sophisticated reports on financial status and&nbsp;risks - Preparing &amp; Compiling the MIS reports from different Management &amp; Business units based on legal entity, Service line, Geographic locations, etc. - Organizes and maintains due diligence filing system and files correspondence and other records - Compile and archive supporting diligence documentation and materials Financial Reconciliation: - Track and determine financial status by analyzing actual results in comparison with forecasts - Reconcile transactions by comparing and correcting data - Evaluating internal control systems / procedures, preparing audit reports with a view - to highlight the shortcomings and implementing necessary recommendations - Oversee the operations of a business or organization as they relate to regulatory and legal compliance. Financial Data Analysis: - Sort, review, analyze and develop conclusions from large amounts of financial and company-specific information - Reviewed and analyzed company's financial statements including following: - Corporate structure, shareholding pattern etc. - Revenue recognition, depreciation and significant accounting policies. - Trend analysis, segmental analysis, working capital analysis, ageing analysis etc. - Fixed assets - Liabilities and provisions - Direct and indirect taxes - Contingent liabilities - Operating and non operating cost - Develop financial models, conduct benchmarking and process analysis - Present information describing client company's financial review, valuation analysis and other related complex financial analysis and conclusions Transaction Support: PE Fund : - Responsibility for overseeing accounting of the PE fund as prepared by Fund Accounting team which is out sourced - Liaising with Trustees and investors on quarterly and monthly reporting - Co-ordinate due diligence process being conducted on the identified investee companies Investment Banking : - Assisting in Transaction closing activities with respect to investee companies - Ability to assist clients with due diligence process being conducted on them - Assisting clients with Transaction closing activities
