About our Client - Our client is a leading Investment Bank and one of the leading financial services groups in the world. As part of expansion of their India based captive centre, they are looking for an experienced professional to join their team as an AVP in the project management domain.

Job Description - As part of the change management function you would be responsible for delivering change initiatives consistently & successfully across all finance verticals within the bank while managing and supporting the delivery of Finance Change projects. Reporting into the Head of Projects & Change, you would work as an individual contributor and would be responsible for:

- Delivery and support of the change projects in accordance with agreed scope, time scales & budgets as per the organizational project management framework

- Ramp-up the team per the portfolio requirements and partner with business areas to stand-up a capable & skilled team to deliver per the change objectives

- Collaborate to create & operate a mature Governance Framework to enable informed decision making in line with Finance Objectives and agreed Portfolio governance principles

- Interact directly with stakeholders & sponsors with limited supervision from the Change Head

- Work with technology partners/suppliers to ensure deliverables for the portfolio are met to scope, time and budget as approved by business

- Escalation point for individual work stream, taking corrective action to achieve resolution to the satisfaction of portfolio stakeholders & sponsors

- Manage stakeholder engagement through regular touch points. Capture business feedback and concerns and drive resolution by facilitating discussions/ actions in appropriate forums

- Ensure project compliance with agreed quality processes and delivery methodology

- Ensure compliance to Finance, Risk & Control policies

The Successful Candidate - MBA with over 10 years of experience within the project management domain along with PMP or Prince2 accreditation

- Extensive experience of working in a financial services setup with exposure to managing finance transformation/change projects

- Significant and substantial experience over a sustained period of time of for delivering complex projects, setting up of Governance Frameworks, design, testing, deployment and management of large change portfolio

- Knowledge of industry best practice around Project delivery frameworks & methodologies

- Knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools

- Significant previous experience of managing multi disciplinary teams and ability to work in Cross Functional teams, across multiple locations & cultures

- Ability to understand business processes & developing future business improvements

- Excellent problem solving, conflict resolution & influencing skills

- Excellent written & verbal communication skills and experienced in interacting with senior stakeholders
