POSITION - AVP Finance

LOCATION :- Kochi

CTC : 13lac to 16lac p.a. ( depending upon current package, experience, education, interview status )

JOB DESCRIPTION:

This position will lead a major part of the accounting/finance tam mainly comprising of the financial controllership activities, with 4-5 managers directly reporting and a total team size from 30-40 resources. The areas to be handled include Statutory and Internal Audits, Taxation and all statutory compliances, Corporate Accounting and Payments, Revenue and Receivable Accounting and Employee Reimbursements.

Major Duties & Responsibilities may include all or part among the below

Own the Financial Controlling processes of the organization completely, will be responsible from any deviations from policies/requirements/deadlines be it documented or contextual.

Need to be a self motivator and controller of work responsibilities, should be able to manage without supervisor support and own the teams responsibility, risks and also recognition.

Supervise, direct, and review the daily work of the team, should be able to identify the weaknesses in process or possible improvements, futuristic in approach and good skills of documentation and data warehousing be it physical or soft copies or accounting systems.

Should be owning and responsible for Chart of accounts in SAP

Responsible for checking month end closures and ensure proper closing of books on monthly basis

Responsible for Invoicing of all products of the Company

Coordinating with Technology team for required maintenance/development of Internal ERP for facilitator modules for internal processes and SAP.

Knowledge of budgeting and analysis of actual vs budget and ability to analyze financial data and prepare reports within the timelines.

Responsible for no-deviation completion of Internal and Statutory Audits, including year end book closure and preparation of financial statements.

Knowledge of accounting software, Esp. SAP Business one (Added advantage)

Ability to work independently, with out supervision and effectively direct and supervise the team

Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally.

Required Qualification & Experience : CA with 8 - 10 years of experience.

EITHER NATIVE OF KERELA or MALAYALI SPEAKING or HAVING WORK EXPOSURE IN KERELA.

Any industry ; relevant experience . Require Team Handling exposure .

Should have good exposure to Accounts Payables, Corporate Accounting, Monthly and Yearly Book Closure, Statutory and Internal Audits, Accounts Receivable and Revenue Functions, Direct, Indirect Taxes and Corporate & allied Laws, Internal Controls, Process Oriented, ability to work under pressure, timelines and strict SOP and Ability to train, manage and motivate the team.
