- Ensure operational controls are in place and monitored against service level agreements and contract terms & conditions (adherence to policies, operating procedures, control standards, meeting challenging deadlines and supervision of staff)
- Overview of day-to-day control performance of operations and service delivery including tracking daily metrics, overview of operational processing queues, and escalation to management of daily operating issues across AR, AP, and Treasury.
- Perform a control self assessment process (CSA); manage to close all CSA actions per schedule; and interface with Auditors during scheduled audits and ad hoc reviews.
- Drive operational improvement projects across the department.
- Key operations stakeholder in strategic projects.
- Regularly and constructively appraise staff on their performance in both formal and informal meetings.
- Perform ad-hoc administrative and management reporting.
- Build and maintain a strong rapport with the internal and external business partners
