Role Title: Cluster Head of Plant Finance ( AVP Level)

Function: Finance

Location: Bhopal

Qualification - CA

Reports to: Chief Financial Officer

Team Size: 8-10 team members (Direct)

Industry - Only from Manufacturing and Automotive

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Strategy and Management:

- Develop and implement financial strategies to achieve the organization's financial goals and objectives.

- Oversee the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts.

- Monitor and analyze financial performance, providing regular reports to senior management.

- Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and accounting standards.

Plant Operations:

- Provide leadership and direction to plant operations teams to optimize production, quality, and efficiency.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

- Ensure adherence to safety and environmental regulations within the plant.

- Manage the maintenance and reliability of plant equipment and infrastructure.

Financial Reporting and Analysis:

- Prepare and present financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, to executive leadership and board of directors.

- Conduct financial analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and areas for improvement.

- Monitor and manage working capital, including inventory and accounts receivable.

Risk Management:

- Identify and mitigate financial and operational risks.

- Develop and maintain risk management strategies to protect the organization's assets.

- Ensure the implementation of sound internal controls and financial systems.

Team Leadership:

- Lead, mentor, and develop the finance and plant operations teams.

- Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and professional growth.

- Set performance objectives, evaluate team members, and provide regular feedback.

Stakeholder Communication :

- Effectively communicate financial and operational performance to key stakeholders, including investors, lenders, and regulatory agencies.

- Build strong relationships with external partners, including suppliers and service providers.

Required qualifications, skills, experience and competencies :

- CA Qualified with 18 to 25 years of relevant experience.

- Strong understanding of financial management, accounting principles, and cost analysis.

- Knowledge of plant operations, including manufacturing processes and equipment.

- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate teams.

- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

- Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.

- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.

- Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance requirements.
