Aarusha Homes Private Limited (Aarusha), established in October 2007, is dedicated to finding housing solutions for low to middle income costumers and households. The objective of Aarusha is to be “a leading housing solutions provider for migrant population in cities of India”. Aarusha currently runs hostels for students and employees in Hyderabad and Bangalore (www.aarusha.com).

Position: Assistant Vice President (AVP Finance and Accounts), Hyderabad

Aarusha is looking for a AVP Finance and Accounts), to work in its corporate office in Hyderabad, India. The following is the job description for the position.

- Responsible for accounts and finance of the Company;

- Responsible for raising of capital including debt, equity and other financial instruments for existing products and new products including setting up of new companies in promoting business;

- Responsible for treasury operations of the company;

- Responsible for receivables of the company;

- Responsible for statutory compliances;

- Responsible for recruitment and management of staff in department.

Job Requirements

We are looking for candidates with a strong desire to learn, an ability to creatively define their own role, a good working knowledge and experience of finance and accounts aspects of hospitality and/or real estate industry, experience of raising debt and equity in general acquired either by formal training, work exposure or both. The requirement is for candidates with a strong operational background and a sound understanding of business of hospitality or real estate industry.

Qualifications Preferred

- Post graduate in finance or chartered accountant (we are open to outstanding candidates with other backgrounds but with relevant work experience in similar industries)

Skills Required

- Experience in finance operations of similar industry and writing of proposals for fund raising

- Knowledge of good management practices

- Knowledge of software such as MS Excel, Powerpoint and Word and finance softwares

- Strong analytical and problem solving skills

- Strong interpersonal skills and effective communication skills- both written and verbal

- Strong work ethic, positive attitude, self motivated individual having an ability to work individually and as part of a team and ability to motivate team

- Ability to multi-task and prioritise conflicting demands

- Intellectual curiosity, creativity and self motivation
