AVP - Finance & Accounts - CA - Real Estate

One of our clients is a large Indian industrial conglomerate, whose group turnover is in excess of 26,000 crores. They have various independent companies in the group. One such subsidiary is providing financial assistance to large Real Estate Builders with a minimum project cost of 100 crores plus.

They are on the look out for an AVP - FINANCE & ACCOUNTS, reporting to the CFO of the subsidiary company.

AVP - Finance & Accounts - Real Estate Industry :

- Chartered Accountant with 8-12 years of experience and should have handled : 

- Accounts finalization in a REAL ESTATE COMPANY preferably (in a managerial role)

- Be well versed with IND-AS, IFRS and GST related provisions

- Dealt with auditors (internal and statutory) and enabled closing audits

- Dealt with bankers and closed loan documents

- Income tax related matters and tax computations and transfer pricing related matters

- TDS returns, GST returns etc.

- Companies Act compliances, Secretarial matters and ROC filings

- Should have an understanding of the Private Equity structure and operations.

- Will be responsible for liasoning with the accounts teams on the portfolio companies to ensure regular operations and provide MIS on a regular basis

- Will be responsible for making budgets and providing variation vis a vis budget for portfolio companies

Soft Skills : Clear Communication skill is non-negotiable since the person would be dealing with various stakeholders - internal employees, auditors, tax consultants, bankers etc.
