We have an urgent opening for the position of AVP- External Reporting role with a leading Banking Financial company in Gurgaon.

Location: Gurgaon.

Position: AVP- External Reporting.

Previous experience in Accounting & reporting in audit firms, leading MNCs, Indian corporates etc.

Customers / Stakeholders

- Good communication and ability to interact with multiple employee levels/business partners in an independent role.

- Possess leadership in analytical and lateral thinking skills.

- Should have demonstrated the ability of driving results in an independent, senior role.

Teamwork

- Effective communication with the manager on organisation change and goals

- Achieve efficiency in operations and maintain work-life balance.

- Create an environment within the team which fosters knowledge sharing and open forums

- Develop the soft skills and technical competency by putting enrolling into trainings.

- Leadership skills and ability to handle large teams

Operational Effectiveness & Control

- Adherence to Group policies, audit, controls, and compliance requirements including but not limited to Declaration of secrecy, data protection act, health, safety and security, clear desk policy

- Effectively drive change and achieve cross-training

Skills/Experience Required

- Should be a qualified Chartered Accountant/ CPA from US with prior experience in Accounting & reporting in audit firms, leading MNCs, Indian corporates etc.

- Leadership in Logical, Conceptual & analytical thinking.

- Expert knowledge in handling P&L, Balance sheet and KPI reporting.

- Demonstrate leadership skills in identifying risks involved in reporting process with implementation of corrective controls.

- Exposure to working with SOX, US GAAP, IFRS etc. in an independent decision making role.

- Senior level experience in working with Corporate policy requirements and compliance with the same.

- Understanding of the implications of working with IT systems and the mitigating controls in independent, senior role.

- Understanding on database management concepts, related complexities and controls in an independent decision making role.

- Expert knowledge in consolidation activities of financial statements in an independent, senior role.

- Exposure to Ratio analysis and other analytical tools like BIA etc..

- Good communication and ability to interact with multiple employee levels/business partners in an independent role.

- Possess leadership in analytical and lateral thinking skills.

- Should have demonstrated the ability of driving results in an independent, senior role.

- Experience in using Excel and knowledge of Six Sigma

- Leadership skills and ability to handle large teams
