Description :

The role is a senior business analyst to takeover from an external consultant. They will be working with a CS team to continue to develop and deliver the firm's counterparty credit risk delivery strategy.

Key responsibilities include :

- Receiving handover and transfer of SME knowledge from departing consultant resource

- Assessing and documenting requirements for IT or process change ahead of the different stage gates in the 2017 delivery roadmap

- Performing in-depth analysis on individual deliverables to ensure appropriate level of definition is present to ensure quality of delivery

- Defining and implementing new reporting and calculation business process flows across finance

- Involvement in testing and quality assurance of deliverables

- Aiding the transition of business processes to BAU resources in preparation for regulatory go-live

- Assessing and fulfilling any training needs that are required to aid the smooth transition to the above business resources

- Co-ordinating with stakeholders to ensure their comfort in delivery and answering any user queries pertaining to deliverables.

SKILLS :

Essential :

- Knowledge of regulatory framework publications such as BCBS 279, BCBS 239, PRA CRR

- Ability to transition methodologies into practical implementation approaches

- Ability to perform detailed/complex data analysis tasks

- Strong problem-solving skills

- Ability to document information accurately and succinctly

- Excellent team player (displays enthusiasm, confidence & commitment)

- Excellent MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills

- Excellent verbal and written English

Desirable :

- System implementation exposure

Knowledge of the Standardized Approach for Counterparty Credit Risk (SA-CCR), PRA CRR

- MS Access skills

- VBA

- SQL

EXPERIENCE

Essential :

- Focus in finance or accounting (financial and regulatory reporting)

- 5+ years of experience in banking industry
