AVP - Economist - BFSI

Looking for candidates who have worked as economist. Has experience of working on tools like Eviews or STATA . Proficient in use of databases such as UNCTAD, WDI, IMF statistics, BIS.

Job responsibilities:

- Developing (and maintaining) quantitative models for now casting, forecasting, simulation and other types of analysis of macroeconomic developments in various regions and globally

- Collecting, processing and analyzing economic, financial, social and political data from a variety of databases and using a variety of methodologies

- Supervising future members of the Mumbai-based part of the Global Economics team

- Contribute to developing ideas for topics as well as specific approaches to address topics of interest in a rigorous and usually quantitative manner

- Presenting and summarizing data, insights or relevant literature in a structured and concise manner for external publication as well as internal use

- Contributing towards maintaining and developing marketing materials, in particular presentations and clients Research publications.

- Other ad hoc tasks or projects, including handling bespoke requests from clients

- Working closely with the clients global team of economists and support staff to deliver the publication and presentation of research in a variety of printed and electronic formats.
