Mid Level : AVP / DVP

Work Experience : 5-8 years of relevant experience

Salary : 35+ Lacs range

Sr. Quantitative Analyst :

- An established propitiatory desk of a large financial services firm is looking for a Quant Analyst / FX Strategist.

- The Role requires researching and analyzing financial markets and macroeconomic factors to find trading opportunities in Ccy

- This role will challenge your Quantitative, Fundamental (Macro-Economics) and technical skills

Role would have two major expectations :

- Supporting the existing trading strategies with relevant Data analysis of Global ccy Market primarily based on Market Data

- Developing Relative Value Trading in Global ccy pairs based on Statistical Models

Principal responsibilities :

- Researching and Analysing all the Trading parameters (Capital Flows, Positioning, Volatility Curve Analytics, Market Moves), Fundamental Analysis ( Macro Economic factors)

- Developing Statistical trading models based on the above parameters and own a Pnl book

- Own all aspects of trading models including trading indicator logics updates, Strategy performance, and Optimisation.

- Stay current on industry development and trends to maintain ongoing business awareness and a competitive edge

- Work closely with traders and quantitative analysts to understand various trading strategy to ensure to be able to develop the relevant analysis

Key skills for the role :

- Excellent academic record in a subject with a strong Mathematical / Statistical along with Macro-Economics (Eg: Msc Econometrics & Mathematical Economics) - Phd is well respected

- Strong Analytical & Trading mindset

- Ability to code in C/ C++ / Java / Python /Matlab is a plus

- Ability of Thinking about large scale theme and identifying trading opportunity based on statistical analysis keeping large theme in mind

- Ability to also code in Python, Java, MATLAB and/or other languages a plus.

- Ability to communicate ideas clearly and work well in a cross-disciplinary team.
