AVP/DVP - Information Technology Risk Management - Housing Finance

Key Responsibilities

- The primary responsibilities would be to identify, report, assess, measure, monitor, control and report operational risks for the IT Systems covering Retail Business and evaluate whether the risk management practices are in line with the operational risk strategies and policies.

- Maintain documentation for Operational Risk Management and risk policies and procedures for Assets

- Monitor and report key risk and control indicators for operational risks across functions within Assets

- Track and monitor operating risk issues for asset business units and the mitigation measures adopted by them in response thereof. Report operational risk issues and decisions to senior management on regular basis and highlight the senior management of any serious operational risks

- Analysis, quantification, and reporting of Operational Loss events.

- Propose Risk Mitigation Plans for breaches

- Implement Ops risk framework and facilitate ORMC meetings at Periodical intervals

- Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders and business partners by addressing issues/concerns (providing subject matter expert advice) in a timely manner as well as promoting free / open two-way communication lines between Risk and Business

- Keep abreast of the latest operational risk management techniques and industry best practices

- Assist in identifying and evaluating risk areas across the operational activities.

- Investigate root causes of operational risks and provide support to mitigate risk.

- Maintain documentation for risk management and risk policies and procedures.

- Drive continuous improvement of the business control environment by using data to generate insights and reports

- Accountable for ensuring risks are profiled and captured in the Risk Profile (RCSA) and updated when risk trigger events occur

Requirements

- B.E/BCA/B.Sc. IT/MCA with minimum 10-15 years of experience of which atleast 5 years should be with a Bank/NBFC/HFC/Consulting in an IT Audit or IT ORM Role
