AVP - Digital Marketing & Public Relations - Footwear Brand
Purpose of the role :
- In addition, category marketing lead will also interface with global & regional counterparts, internal marketing team members and research agency, associations, creative, media & PR agencies etc.
Job Responsibilities :
Category Marketing Strategy & Implementation:
- Manage marketing for multiple categories. Develop brand plans in each of these categories. Develop category marketing strategy, drive marketing initiatives & promotions for each of the brands
- Drive e-commerce & omni-channel marketing for - key marketplaces, Home Delivery, create new digital channels and key campaigns
- Lead marketing for Distribution channel for MBOs and B2B verticals
- Develop portfolio & NPD inputs for Collection team by looking at consumer, market, overall fashion, technology & material trends 12-18 months in advance. Briefing merchandising for key portfolio/products to buy basis marketing campaigns planned 6 months in advance
Digital & PR:
- Develop consumer proposition & communication plan for key flagship products / collections to support launch in key channels. Drive campaign development (ATL, BTL, sponsorship, PR, digital, influencer tie-ups, BTL, Retail, events) and GTM program along with key peers for products & season-based tactical campaigns.
- Drive PR for company - key messages, press-releases, media interactions, crises management, quarterly results. Manage interface with PR agency and downstream with Retail
- Manage celebrity relationship for assigned categories. Ensure celeb's influence is leveraged to drive rub-off.
- Drive understanding and analysis in areas like promo analysis & effectiveness, investment & ROI analysis
- Contribute and lead key global projects.
Key Skills required:
- Category marketing, 360 Campaign management, Media buying
- Well-versed with Digital marketing, hands-on experience in performance, programmatic, SEM, SEO, Social, marketplaces
- Absolutely critical to have good writing skills for PR content management.
- Analytical, data-based decision-making and commercially driven - Retail and channel understanding, store management
- Experience of cross-functional leadership and strategy
- Nimble and agile thinker who is not afraid to challenge the norm
- Strong people management skills and the ability to manage and persuade at all levels of the company
