Role Summary/Purpose:

The role of the AVP Development, Strategy Analytics is a role which is responsible for leading a team which develops reporting solutions and dashboards to drive action oriented results for the department. This includes key performance indicators for cardholders and accounts, as well as metrics to support strategy development and execution.

The AVP not only leads these projects and team members, but is also works - hands on- alongside their team. This is an important role in the success of the department and will partner cross functionally to support the department and business.

Essential Responsibilities:

- Lead and mentor a team which provides dashboards, business intelligence and reporting support to the department.

- Partner with the larger Collections Strategy team on the creation and enhancement of key reports, dashboards and visualization methodologies, acting as a subject matter expert and champion of data driven decisions.

- Conduct ad-hoc dashboards, reports and requests as needed.

- Develop process controls and produce documentation as needed.

- Manage projects under tight deadlines with limited guidance and direction from VP, Strategy Analytics.

- Strong background in successful communication with Senior Leadership teams in a clear, concise manner

- Responsible for delivering Strategic Business Process Reviews on strategic vision and performance

Qualifications/Requirements:

- Master's / MBA degree preferred in computer science, mathematics, economics, finance, business, or engineering.

- Regulatory and audit support.

- 5+ years of data warehouse usage.

- Demonstrated reporting and data extraction experience.

- Demonstrated ability to work with ambiguity and deliver creative results.

- Experience working with large amounts of data.

- Proven decision making skills.
