Client: One of the Leading Investment Bank in Bangalore  Position: Assistant Vice President (AVP)  Job Location: Bangalore  Experience : 8-14 years of Experience  Qualification: CA/ICWA/MBA   Shift Timings: US Shift (5:30 PM-2:30 PM)   Job responsibilities:  - Responsible for a diverse team of approx. 30 FTE across 2 teams performing   1) Intra-day Exchange Margin Funding and 2) Listed Derivatives Client Service with regards business executed on all major listed derivatives exchanges worldwide. The teams responsible for are Cash, Client Services, Proprietary Services, Fees Reconciliations and Commission RCA.  - Manage team to provide accuracy and timeliness in all processes performed and to meet the high client satisfaction standards at all times.  - Produce meaningful performance MIS and present professionally to internal and external stakeholders.  - Awareness of risks attached and proactively mitigate thru new controls, training and awareness where required.   - Responsible to define appropriate benchmarks and KPIs for each team and manage adherence.  - Represent department in regular calls with onshore management and other stakeholders, i.e. Monthly Control Forum, Performance Review calls.   - Manage, motivate, challenge and encourage directs on an individual basis to perform above average and assist in career planning.  - Effectively coordinate and allocate resources to execute strategy.  - Ensure proper cross training to avoid key man dependencies.  - Capable of making decisions in challenging circumstances.  - Good judgement for effective escalation.   - Proactively drive changes to existing processes to improve effectiveness.  - Partner with IT/CTB to improve system stability and enhance performance.  - Work closely with Business Process Engineering team, contribute to book of work, support testing and provide sign off where required.  - Produce meaningful metrics to manage our operational processes effectively.  Experience / Requirements:  - Proven Derivatives - Futures & Options business and market knowledge  - Margin Cash and exchange funding experience  - Minimum 2-3 Years of senior team management experience  - RTB experience with Cash Operations or Settlements background.  - Experience in managing Client and Prop desk would be added advantage.  - Monitor and make margin calls with counterparties and pay margin to exchanges  - Knowledge about Reconciliation between accounts on T0 and T+1 and escalations on breaks  - Exchange Traded Derivative experience - Derivatives product knowledge (especially Commodity, FX, Interest Rate and Equity derivative experience)  - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills  - Strong Client focus and experience of external client interaction.  - Flexibility in working hours
