AVP - Decision Sciences - Bank

We're hiring for a global client of ours which features in the list of Fortune 22 banks

- We're looking for someone who has a minimum 8 years of experience in demonstrating strong trouble shooting and creative solution skills.

- The incumbent should have a strong background of Basel and modelling would be highly preferred.

Projects and analysis:

- Effective oversight of models to ensure that they are robust, documentation are of good quality, and they follow the required standards and governance process

- Dissemination, clarification, and consolidation of various regulatory requests

- Effectively monitor the modelling gaps, issues, and findings resulting from the model attestation, independent model reviews, and audit reviews

- Support creation, implementation and maintenance of modelling standards and related necessary internal and external policies and requirements

- Provide ongoing analysis and ad-hoc support on requests and projects to the bigger global team

Customers / Stakeholders:

- Strong project management and delivery focus

- Demonstrated ability to deal with highly confidential information and act as a liaison between the leadership team and other constituencies, both internal and external

Operational Effectiveness & Control:

- Strengthen risk management by producing high quality analysis and reporting. Capable of informing and driving business decision making

- Fostering a risk aware culture by the routine embedding of risk considerations into all analysis and reporting
