Client Details

Our client is a leading multinational investment bank. They are looking for a seasoned professional who will lead a data science team and will work very closely with the business stakeholders in their mortgage portfolio.

Description

As AVP- Data Scientist, you will be expected to:

- Lead projects/people to deliver concrete analytical solutions to existing/new business problems

- Provide leadership, coaching and mentoring to a group(s) of analytic professionals

- Monitor and track strategies/solutions at regular intervals and propose appropriate modifications from time to time

- Develops innovative and effective approaches to solve analytics problems and communicates results and methodologies.

Profile

As a successful candidate, you need to have:

- Master's degree in relevant technical or quantitative fields (e.g., Mathematics, Finance, Business, Physics, Statistics, Operations Research, and Economics)

- 5+ years of experience in the analytics, data mining, machine learning algorithms (like regression, classification, random forest etc.), and statistical modeling

- Prior experience in and knowledge of machine learning/ big data products and applications is a requirement for this position

- Strong leadership skills with a desire to oversee the development of analysts on the team

- Strong verbal and written communication skills
