AVP - Data Architect/Data Modeller - BFSI

Join the RF IT Data Architecture and contribute in data architecture initiatives involving strategic and key systems e.g. MYRIAD, REF, RDP, Insight, MARS, RDS, Finance Gateway, STAR, DAL etc.

We are looking for an expericed Data Architect/Data Modeller to join the team with the following responsibilities :

- Work closely with project Business/Data Analysts, Solution Architects, DBAs to ensure projects follow data architectural principles and are aligned with data architecture targets

- Contribute to conceptual or logical data model development

- Support the alignment between physical and conceptual data models

- Support stakeholder communication

Qualifications :

- Evidence of involvement in cross-projects data architecture management

- Understanding of data architecture concepts in various domains from conceptual data architecture through to physical data model and message format.

- Some understanding of risk management functions and required IT support

- Hands on experience with Data Modeling tools (ideally Sparx-Enterprise Architect, Erwin, Sybase PowerDesigner)

- Familiarity with Data Management Tools (IBM Infosphere, Informatica Metadata Manager)

- Experience with physical database design and development

- Strong ability to present ideas and approaches through tools such as PowerPoint.

- Good verbal, written and presentation communication skills

- University degree education ideally with focus on Information Technology, finance or business administration

- Fluent written and spoken English

- Excellent MS Office skills is a must

- High degree of flexibility and - can do- attitude. Ability to work with limited level of instruction and supervision
