AVP Lead Credit Management
Generic Accountability :
- Responsible for completing annual reviews on or ahead of time for allocated portfolio.
- Responsible for completion of credit application requests for new facilities &/or ad-hoc or interim requests. Timely drafting of credit analysis based on guidance received &/or as directed from/by Onshore team.
- Actively participate & collaborate with Onshore Credit team and other stakeholders in all matters related to allocated portfolio - these include ongoing credit due diligence for annual renewals, new to bank, interim &/or ad-hoc requests.
- Identify and advise Onshore Credit team proactively on key risk factors &/or emerging issues and to suitably mitigate such risk
- Ensures timely availability of required information to Onshore Credit team for credit decision making.
- Support SCO/Credit Manager in the onshore team to facilitate and manage work flow for transactional approvals.
- Participate in client/internal meetings as part of ongoing credit relationship management.
- Ensure accuracy of data being presented to various stakeholders including senior management
- To facilitate clearance of & prepare response to audit queries for Unit Head/SCO review
- Prepare Ad hoc reports / MIS as per management's requirements
- To be fully conversant with the CIB Group Credit policies and ensure that the same are adhered to
Job Specific Accountabilities :
- Ensure timely preparation and submission of- Credit Application.
- Coordinates with the Onshore Credit Team / Coverage Units well in advance of due dates of annual reviews to obtain necessary information from the borrower to facilitate a comprehensive review of the credit facilities.
- Ensure credit processing & approval turnaround times as per agreed SLAs.
- Follow up and monitor accounts regularly and follow-up in liaison with Onshore Credit team with Business units on terms and conditions to ensure compliance with the approval conditions.
- Highlight cases of non-compliance to enable decision makers take suitable action.
- Monitor based on Early Warning Indicators and liaise with Onshore Credit team / Business Units for ensuring suitable action plans are in place to rectify /remedy / mitigate the issue, in respect of problem accounts at an early stage.
- Provide account specific inputs for Early Warning Indicators to Offshore Specialists Unit.
- Review exception and portfolio reports as applicable and keep abreast of the clients account conduct, financial standing and- latest developments occurring in their respective segment/market so as to provide appropriate recommendations with regards to change in risk appetite / ratings /classification.
- In this context, job holder is expected- to review TOD/EOLs/Documentation Deficiency/Covenant reports & follow up with coverage RMs to remove/minimize the exceptions.
