Key responsibilities:
- Managing a team of professional sales resources and sales support staff for achieving the set objective.
- Driving corporate group business through the network of intermediaries (brokers & agents) in the designated territory and completion of allocated business objective within the organisational strategic framework.
- Achieve targeted Sales either direct or through the reportees.
- Activate intermediaries in the designated territory
- Relationship Management with all the key intermediaries & key personnel of the large clients
- Market research and portfolio build-up for the corporate group businesses in the designated territory
- Maintain a repository of business pipeline in the designated territory with complete information.
- Ensuring that the pipeline of RFQ from the intermediaries
- Assist the regional in-charge in achieving the business objective of the territory
- Take up challenges as may be assigned from time to time by the regional sales in-charge
- Work towards client satisfaction by working in close coordination with CRM and other internal teams
Desired Skills and Experience:
- 10 TO 15 YEARS OF SALES EXPERIENCE IN INSURANCE (GROUP BUSINESS/ CORPORATE SALES) - with major emphasis in group health insurance.
- Extensive knowledge of intermediaries & their operational capabilities at the local level.
- Knowledge of local corporate group business
- Proven ability to execute business targets
- Track record of delivering stretching business goals in a challenging business environment
