JOB DESCRIPTION

1. Develop and execute effective corporate communication strategies/programme for Corporate & Product Brands and Image Building exercise of the entire Group.

2. Develop a strong relationship with media for maintaining a place of prominence and a leadership position for the Group in the industry.

3. Collaborate with SBUs on PR strategies and maintain relationship with Media & other relevant stake holders and ensure that policies and programs of Group and each SBU are developed to enhance Public reputation of the Group.

4. Oversee and monitor all Group brand management activities including corporate brand Advertising, sponsorships and other related activities.

5. To develop effective content for various external (press/media releases) and internal Communications.

6. Develop collaterals, website and other external & internal communication material.

7. Develop digital PR strategy for the corporate brand and CSR.

8. Should have extensive knowledge of Social media and social listening.

9. Creating media strategy for the conglomerate in the relevant media circles.

10. Network with key media personalities to ensure visibility across platforms such as Print, TV, Social and Digital.

11. Monitor the Company's and industry's news and sensitise internal and external stakeholders on any possible impact of the news.

12. Manage and support crisis and act as crisis-management spokesperson.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

1. Quality & relevant Corporate Writing.

2. Devising Annual PR Plans, Budgets etc. for the Group & Brands.

3. Coordination with relevant execution agencies with updation of design & content.

4. Ensure coverage in National & Regional Media.

5. To be able to cull out PR able stories and sell the same to Media.

6. Designing & Managing Corporate events.

7. Regular updation of PR values, Expenses & Budgets.

Keywords:

- System Oriented, Responsive, Drive for Results, Crisis Management, Knowledge of Media selection and negotiations, Knowledge on PR networking, Should have knowledge of Social media and PR, Computer Proficiency and good written and oral Communication skills.

Work Experience:

- Minimum 18 years experience with strong connects & understanding of Media with exceptional writing skills. Candidates with Marketing Communication / Brand communication should not apply.

Industry - Preferably FMCG

Functional Area: Communications (written & verbal) and Influencing, Teamwork, Planning and Execution, Strategies and Action Planning, Business Acumen, Customer Focus, Networking & Relationship Building, Knowledge of Media selection and negotiations.

Specify UG Qualifications: Graduate (Any), Preference: BA English, Mass Communication, Journalism.

Specify PG Qualifications: Post Graduate in Mass Communication or Journalism.

Preference : Specialized programs in Advertisement/ Media Management from reputed institute.
