Corporate Accounting and GL Management vertical cater to the Financial Reporting requirements for the Bank. Its second line of defense working hand and hand with Business , Operating units and other Control Groups. The unit is further bifurcated into Financial Reporting team and the Controls and Governance team. Both the teams collectively and largely ensure :
- Preparation of Stand Alone and Consolidate Financial Statements
- Augmenting bank wide controls towards mitigating/ minimizing Financial Reporting risks
- Advising Operating Units on Accounting treatment for various business as usual events which triggers a need for accounting it in the Bank's books
- Liasoning with Statutory Auditors and Regulatory Inspection teams
- Feeding Top Management with relevant financial prognosis and matrices
- Finalizing various notes which is put up to the Bank's relevant governance forums ( such as AMCOM, ACB, Board and so ) either as an update / approval of propositions from Financial Management perspective.

The Incumbent is required to :
- Set up the center of excellence wherein he/ she will :
- Identify and work with teams for various action-oriented dashboard for CFO and other leadership within Financial Management Group
- Continuously do process re-engineering to bring in efficiency in routine processes followed in the area of Financial Reporting & Financial Controls.
- Continuously augment entity level controls to mitigate/ minimize financial reporting risks.
- Work with various units to ensure the top management is fed with timely updates on Financial Matrices so that action is much more pro-active
- Drive various agenda currently housed under Financial Control and Governance vertical such as GL / Internal Account opening , annual review of account ownership and attributes, quarterly - half yearly substantiation exercise , related party transaction monitoring framework and so on
