AVP - Contracts - IT

It attracts the responsibility of managing all contracts for BDTS/IT department. In this key role the profile is expected to manage and close various contracts like MSA, Software Licenses, Hosted (Saas/PaaS) Agreements, IT Hardware Agreements, NDA, Novation Agreement etc as per bank's requirement.

This position will also be responsible for Contract Life Cycle Management and addressing Audit related queries related to contracts.

The position will be part of Contracts Management Team under Strategic Procurement Unit (SPU) of the Bank.

Position Responsibilities:

1 Managing IT contracts for Hardware, Software, SAAS, PAAS, Cloud etc.

2 Coordination and closure with internal business team, vendor and legal team of the bank

3 Establish effective controls and compliance as industry best practices

4 MIS and report generation for IT

5 Adherence to policies and guidelines

6 Ensuring required sign off from business and vendor

7 Liaison with Legal team

8 Service Agreements - Professional Services , SW Development contracts, Staff Augmentation, Managed Services for IT

9 Support in developing standardized processes and templates

10 Support internal stakeholders in audit closure

Qualifications and Experience Requirement:

a) LLB

b) Any recognized certification/degree in IT

Experience Essential

a) Should have prior experience in managing IT contracts

b) Experience in working with entry -level to senior level executives

c) knowledge of automated tools available for contract closure

a. Technical Skills

Skill Attribute

Procurement Sound experience in procurement with sizeable budget and specially for IT hardware, software and services

Contract and Vendor Management Experience in managing multiple vendor contracts, SLAs and vendor payments against contract and SLAs

Reporting Ability to comprehend effective financial dashboard views, generate report through systems

MS Office tools Good working knowledge of MS office suite - Words, Excel, Power Point etc.
