JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Proven experience in leading a team of 50-70 people
- Ability to correlate technology with business issue to help solve a client problem
- Provide significant thought leadership on structuring client problems and issues
- Strong people development focus with ability to multiply knowledge and expertise within the team
- Responsible for working with the operations head and the sales team to build and grow the ICT Practice
- Work with the operations head to build innovative solutions for scale and value in client engagements
- Plan and achieve targeted business growth
- Work with the sales team to convert the potential opportunities
- Be able to engage with senior client executives in a peer-to-peer conversation
- Travel onsite as required to build client relationships and mine accounts in support to the sales team
- Help delivery teams with relevant research techniques, frameworks and ideas
- Ensuring high utilization and productivity of resources
- Help perform complex data analysis/modeling on assignments
SKILL SET REQUIRED:
- Proven problem solving skills
- In-depth knowledge of ICT industry
- Experience in business development, solution building, research project delivery
- Excellent communication skills
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Engineer/MBA with 12+ years of relevant industry experience
- Expertise in the ICT sector will be required ideally in consulting, research & analytics, pre-sales, strategy and marketing functions
- Good data modeling skills using statistics, econometrics in MS Excel will be an advantage.
IDEAL CANDIDATE:
- 12+ years in the area of technology consulting or research & analytics (consulting/ pre-sales/ strategy or marketing functions) in a team lead role.
- 7+ years in providing business research solutions, knowledge support for business decision making and value creation activities.
- Working with sales, customer LOBs and senior clients to develop an accurate understanding of business needs, drive proposals, presentations, and other customer communications.
- Lead large research engagements covering various sales, marketing, strategy, technology initiatives at leading technology companies.
- Apply business and technical skills to identifying overlooked opportunities within key client accounts.
- Identifying customer-wide business imperatives and constraints that impact business growth.
- Set team strategy, define research plans, lead business development efforts (with sales), and drive strategy meetings.
- Managing problem resolution and customer satisfaction issues through strong execution and engagement management capabilities.
