Location - Mumbai

Job Role :

- Creating and reviewing all agreements and rules in accordance with the relevant compliance framework

- Carrying out monitoring and reviews of internal compliance, including recurring Department reviews.

- Play a crucial part in guaranteeing adherence to the rules set forth by RBI for non-banking financial organisations and SEBI for Alternative Investment Funds (AIF).

- Determine which compliances apply to the company, consider the ramifications, and put the standards of compliance into practice.

- Keep up with any changes to the laws, rules, policies, and procedures that the company is subject to, and make sure that appropriate action is done as soon as any new consequences become apparent.

- Make sure that every department is aware of the need to guarantee compliance in their particular fields.

- Assist in developing policies that apply to the entire organisation and establish a framework for compliance for the business;


- Ensure that internal policies and procedures are implemented and that awareness of them is raised.

- Oversee the group's compliance monitoring programme.

- Ensuring consistent, regular filings with SEBI and RBI.

- Work together with other departments and functions to guarantee that information and returns are submitted to regulators on time and accurately.

- Support the automation of controls and reporting.

- Help in responding to inquiries from the RBI, SEBI, and/or other statutory organisations.

- Updating and maintaining MISs connected to compliance.

- Support all departments in the regular preparation and delivery of Compliance reports.

- Gathering information from several departments and reviewing it before submitting it to the RBI for inspection.

- Help in advising management on the legal and regulatory ramifications of the company's proposed new initiatives.

- Communicating with different government and regulatory agencies regarding updates on approvals and ad hoc requests and queries

- Responding to inquiries from the RBI or other regulatory bodies

- Draw attention to purported infractions of RBI laws, rules, and regulations that NBFCs are subject to, and suggest mechanisms for redress.

- To advise management on corporate governance standards and compliance as required by various corporate and other business laws, regulations, and guidelines.

- To coordinate and cultivate relationships with the Reserve Bank of India Depositories, the Registrar of Companies, and other statutory authorities.

- To provide returns and forms as needed on a regular basis.

- Regularly creating and delivering compliance reports
