The candidate must have an experience of working with Financial Services, Investment Banks or Private Equity firms The role will be responsible for the management of the Compensation function as follows: - Initially, to continue the overhaul of existing processes to improve accuracy and efficiency of the compensation function (including outsourcing, where appropriate) - Subsequently, to manage and administer the compensation function and to act as a resource to all program participants. - To support the management of the Human Resources function by providing timely and accurate management information - This is a hands-on role which requires a high level of technical expertise as well as a broader knowledge and experience of compensation program design and administration MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES Compensation Functions - Further refine processes for all Carry and Co-investment Programs - Management of the day-to-day relationship with EWM (Compensation system provider) - Work with the Compensation team members and EWM to develop standard reports for award communication and for management information - Providing ad hoc reports to LOB heads and senior management using EWM and Excel data; and present the reports where appropriate - Uploading and auditing compensation information into Cascade/HRIS - Liaison with Finance and other parties to meet periodic reporting requirements and deliverables and to ensure the efficient collaboration of both groups - Work with the rest of the team in the delivering the annual Compensation processes, including year-end bonus cycle, annual base salary review and other annual Compliance deliverables and reporting requirements - Managing the market data process - Develop and maintain financial data using Excel spreadsheets or other electronic format to track all operations and investments. - As part of the various program distributions process; prepare participant memos, Limited Partner letters and schedules/statements - Liaise with participants in relation to capital call requirements; prepare information regarding amounts due and then track receipt of funds and produce the related journals for Finance - Annual Participant Reports - help with the production of program statements, compilation of the reports, and distribution to Participants through EWM - Work with internal operations team and various third party vendors (Anaplan, EWM, CITCO, etc.) to ensure a robust, flexible and accurate execution of our compensation processes - Perform ad-hoc duties that may be assigned from time to time, including ongoing project support for the Compensation team SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS : - Minimum of 5-6 years prior experience of a specialist compensation role in a private equity or Financial Institutions, some of which working with carried interest and co-investment programs - Advanced systems knowledge, Excel skills and an ability to adapt to new technologies - Bachelors degree essential, relevant Masters degree desirable - Maths and statistics experience key - Good interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with peers and clients - High level of integrity and ability to maintain highly confidential information
